Founded in 2009, Amanda Orr Architects is a multi-disciplinary firm specializing in various architectural needs. We strive to create complete projects that respond to the functional, aesthetic and economic desires of each client by establishing a close working relationship and dialogue throughout the design process.

We find each project to be a new and challenging creative adventure. New architectural structures are exciting as we are able to establish the client’s personal style + family needs and develop those into a structure that blends seamlessly with its surroundings and environment. Renovations are different in nature, but in a good way.

We work to enhance the existing architectural style of the structure with an up-to-date addition/renovation; this will extend the life of the home for many years, and it is a joy to witness each client’s utilization of these enhancements.

Amanda Kristoff, also known as “AK” around the AOA office, is a native of Chagrin Falls, a small town outside of Cleveland, Ohio rich with history. Amanda has been passionately pursuing a career in architecture ever since a young age, drawing inspiration from her early 1900s surroundings of timeless architecture and effortless designs.

During her undergraduate studies in architecture at University of Cincinnati, Amanda tailored her cooperative education program around gaining practical experience specific to residential design. She then went on to obtain a masters of architecture degree from Clemson University, which ultimately led to her meeting and joining Amanda Orr’s team in 2019.

Outside of work Amanda keeps busy traveling to visit friends & family, counting down the days until another summer spent on the lake, and most importantly tending to Brie, her Portuguese Water Dog "fur baby”.
